Hi, I’m Grayson Priefert. I attended Gretna High School and am currently pursuing my associate’s degree in photography at Metropolitan Community College in Elkhorn.
I’ve always enjoyed capturing moments of everyday life and experimenting with different subjects. I started my photography journey at the end of my junior year. During my senior year, I began taking college courses part-time to develop my skills as a photographer.
I finally purchased a mirrorless camera at the end my junior year. I started photographing Gretna High School football games, and I discovered a real passion for sports and the vibrant atmosphere that comes with them. After attending many games, friends started asking if I’d be there, and one of my teachers even featured some of my photos in the yearbook, a huge confidence boost that strengthened my passion for photography.
As I continued, I expanded my focus to include basketball, soccer, track, and golf. But my photography wasn’t just limited to sports; I also love taking photos during family vacations, landscapes, portraits, candid moments, and more.
College has challenged me to explore different styles and techniques, helping my portfolio grow into a diverse collection of images. Whether capturing athletic action, beautiful landscapes, or special moments, I’m committed to honing my craft and telling stories through my photos.
